Hi There, I need to know what is going on with att.yahoo email for the past week or so. First of all I have been having a horrible time getting my mails to outlook in a timely fashion. Whatever email I can see on the webmail version of att.yahoo.com has been taking up to an hour or longer to get to outlook. For my iphone, it's been fine.
I accidently deleted my iphone email when I set it back up it is downloading thousands of old read emails to my iphone. Show 50 recent messages Preview 2 lines.
But for outlook, it's been a big problem. The issue has been having on and off for a couple of weeks. Then all of a sudden tonight, outlook is downloading 58,000+ emails from the last two years! What is going on? Can someone please help! I want to reiterate what the others are saying. This is NOT an outlook issue.
The feature to prevent your Apple Mail from downloading all of your emails has been removed from the application. Aug 18, 2012 Hi - I've been using Outlook for years to get my emails (yahoo.verizon), but for the last few days, everytime I open Outlook, it downloads thousands of old emails from over a year ago. How to keep mail app from downloading all my emails? I just installed 7.06 from iOS 5.01 and the mail app is eating up all my storage. I have a lot of unread emails, in the thousands, but before I updated, IOs 5.01 never tried to download all of my unread emails, it would be a number like 300 unread emails. This has occurred several times already ( I guess few months apart ). My Apple Mail suddenly decided to download several thousand messages.
This is an att.yahoo problem. It is only happening with this email account. I have five other email accounts, and no other account is doing this.
